Banana Bread

Dear Readers,

I’m very happy this morning if my allergies would let up I’d be feeling great. I have my house ready for movie night it’s been done since last night which is very unusual. The smell of baking banana bread is wafting though the house and I only have Bible left to do before school.

I didn’t do anything super special this past week. I just had a very relaxing weekend though. I didn’t do anything I didn’t want to do and I got more done than if I had made myself do stuff. Isn’t it weird how that happens sometimes.

I’m still reading huckleberry Finn. I didn’t get much done in it this weekend. That’s the only thing I didn’t get done this weekend that I wanted to.

I’m very sad to report that Bear, mom and dad’s dog, died Saturday night. He got bitten by a large dog and the wound got infected. He died as a result. I didn’t live with him for all the years they did but he still held a special place in my heart. I’m going to miss him a lot.

Well, I guess that gets you up to-date.

A few week of my life:

Dear Readers,

I’ve had a busy two weeks. I really wasn’t too busy to post, but I just forgot to write it last week. I’m now writing on NaNoWriYe’s “Full Moon Madness.”

I finished Red today. I’m going to do a review on the books I’ve read this spring soon maybe even later tonight. I’m starting huckleberry Finn today. I really like it so far. Edit: I did post reviews for the two books I’ve read for the Spring Reading Thing 2008 they are located on the top bar of the blog and you just click Spring Reading Thing 2008′s page under my links. It’s that simple.

I had some exciting news two weeks ago. I got a bank statement that showed Social Security paid me one final payment. I originally thought I should have received it but I did not know if I would receive it. I bought groceries and clothes with it I’m so pleased to have a little extra money now.

In case anybody wanted to know Molly is doing fine. I think she is finally really house broken no messes in about 3 weeks. (What saying this really means is there will be a mess tonight sometime.)

Richard and I had another game night this past weekend. We had a lot of fun. We stayed up until about 4 A.M. We played Empire Earth and I messed his brand new mac. He came back today and I fixed it after I messed it up even worse. I guess, I won’t try to install Windows through Bootcamp. I really have no idea what I did wrong.

I had a problem with my computer shutting down from overheating this week but it fixed itself for some unknown reason I don’t know of.

I cleaned up my backyard last weekend. I removed all the sticks and all the leaves that didn’t get raked up last year. I mowed it today. I hate that we’re able to mow the lawns already. I like the warm weather but not the growing grass.

Well, I guess that’s about all for this post.

Another Week Gone By:

Dear Readers,
I haven’t really had anything great happen this week to write about. So I’ll tell you what I did and you can get all excited by a new post that could have just as well been skipped altogether. I walked Molly several days this week at the park. I saw Aunt Edith (One of the local living extended Starlin family.) which I haven’t seen for two years, when I saw her at the Bratwurst Festival. We had a nice visit.
I have almost finished reading Violet Dawn and I might have finished by the time you read this. I’m starting Red as this weeks reading. I hope it doesn’t take as long as Violet Dawn has taken me.
Crystal, Ashley, and Richard took part of the Iowa test last week for two days of the school week. I get out of it because I’m graduating this year. I never realized how noisy this “very quite test” is. (Some grammar rule is telling me this “is” shouldn’t be here but don’t know what one.) They will be testing two more days this week Monday and, I only wish I could remember what other day. I like testing days because it usually makes my day lighter and make a 2 or 3 hour silent time to work harder. The only drawback is that I have to arrive at 9 instead of 10 in the morning.
I cleaned part of the garage this weekend. I worked on one of my worked benches cleaning it off and getting more of the old paneling torn down. I worked a total of about 3 hour on it. I think it looks better, but would look even better if the recycling was done.
I have really enjoyed the warm weather we are having. I wish it was warm enough to swim. I can’t wait to be able to swim every day again.
I could use some prayer in the way of finding a job. I really need one.
Well, I guess I’ll close for now.
