More ramblings from a teen:

Dear Readers,

I have not been doing much since school ended. I finished my last turn in thing tonight with the writing of my book report on In His Steps by Charles Sheldon. We have been done with school for 2 weeks now. I don’t have as much to talk about since I don’t have school to talk about.

I haven’t made any more no-bake cookies since the batch explained the last post. I’m done for the summer. I will try again in the fall sometime. I really can cook just so everyone knows that. I’m not starving for lack of knowhow. (I don’t know if that’s a compound word but Word 2007 likes it.)

I have been watching an older show some of you may have watched when it was on its called Stargate SG-1. I haven’t watched too many movies since school ended seem to like the shows better, they are shorter. I did see one movie in theaters on the last day of school. Ashley, Richard and I went to the 11:30 A.M. showing of Prince Caspian.

We put our pool up about a week ago and I’ve only missed a few days when the air didn’t get as warm as the water. No one else had been in until Crystal braved it yesterday and then again this morning. I guess it’s a little cold. I don’t know I swim not float and that keeps me warm. The water temp is about 58 to 64 degrees most days. It reached its peak today at 66 degrees.

I don’t really know what else to write so I’m going to close. I’ll try to write another post sooner than that last one.

Nathaniel S.

Getting Caught Up On Bible:

Dear Readers,
I spent most of last week getting caught up on Bible that was yesterdays only to fall behind again and again. I thought I might never get caught up. I did get caught up Friday even though it took me two whole hours. I’m hoping to do better on our LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL. We finish Bible at least. I have school to do when I get home. Consumer math is going to kill me instead of me winning out over it. I have a economics test Wednesday then it will be done. I don’t know when I finish consumer math, I would guess by Friday but I don’t really think it is possible. Enough about school right now.
Now I’m going to talk about cooking again. I thought some of you would enjoy knowing about how my latest batch of no bake cookies turned out. They once again resembled glue. I even used all the right ingredient this time except for vanilla, which I didn’t have, but I didn’t think would bother the texture, which is my trouble area. I’m going to run out of coca, if I keep this up. I can say that these were edible though. I’ll let you know about my next batch. I hope it only takes one more batch to get it right.
I know have speakers ordered that will come close to finishing out my sound system. I only need a few mikes now. I can get a set of six for less than two hundred dollars. I would then have a complete traveling studio. (I at last figured out how to finish out sentences without using a preposition. I have no idea why this was so hard for me to figure out.)
I guess that wraps up my past week. Will write more later.

P.S. Yes, this is a very old post but I haven’t written anything since this one on May 11th. I’m going to be writing a book report and a new blog this evening so hang in there.

No Bake Cookies

Dear Readers,

Looking back that I posted on food last time too. I’m sorry about that ecpecially if you like food and can’t have any right now. I have tried two time unsuccessfully to make no bake cookies. I have made many many good desserts, main dishes, and breads under Aunt Valeries care. I don’t think I’ve ever made no bakes though. I guess there is a reason for this. The first time they didn’t harden up and then turned to like glue later. This time they were thicker than I thought they should be right away and it just got worse. I burned them to the bottom of the pan and then tried to save the rest. I’m going to end up diching the entire batch. I was at least able to sorta eat my first batch.

I have to go get caught up on Bible in a few minutes. We are trying to finish by May 16 if you fall behind you may never get caught up again. I also need to finish Huck Finn. I should have finished it about 3 weeks ago. I would really like to be done with my reading list when we get done with school. I also have consumer math and study for a test before 9:35 tomorrow, when I have to leave to get Crystal.

L.T. got a dog this last weekend. The dog doesn’t have a name as far as I know. It was Rambo but the didn’t like that so now it’s back to not having a name. The dog is a black lab mix. I don’t think it’s full grown yet but L.T. says it’s a year old and won’t grow much more.

I think that’s all for now.
