Dear Readers,
I tried to write a post yesterday and my internet quit. I also tried last weekend but the same thing happened. I wanted to point you to my gallery that has the Cousin’s Reunion pictures. I tried to remember names and spelling if I got any wrong correct me in a email or leave a comment.
I had a great time at the reunion. I only wished it would have been longer.
I’ve spent the last week building a fence on one side of my yard. We received a letter last weekend telling us if we didn’t put up a 6’ fence because we have a pool we would be fined. So we put up a fence. I worked on it all last week. Dad and Richard each helped me one day. Dad came and helped the last day when I was worn way down. There are some pictures in this Gallery.
Monday I had my first interview. I’ve never had one so I don’t know how it went. I think it went well. This interview was at Hi – Stat in Lexington, OH.
Saturday, Dad, Crystal, L.T., Uncle Jay, and I went to our Cousin’s house and we target shot. I had a really good time. It had been about a year since I’d been shooting.
Well, That’s all for now

Dear Readers,
I just finished picking out and installing the new blog theme. It’s called “Detox.” I don’t remember the rule for themes in my grammar textbook.
Last weekend I cleaned my entire house, straightened all the rooms and swept all the floors. Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Readers,
I’ve been busy since we returned. We got home about 5 P.M. Friday. I didn’t do much just rested. I was so glad to see Molly, but she was even more glad to see me, I think.
Saturday I went over to Songer’s to help set up for the church “4th” of July cookout. Dad said he would drive to see the fireworks in Bucyrus if he got done in time so I helped him get done. We didn’t get to see the fireworks in TN as they really didn’t put them off until the 4th. I’m not really disappointed. We had seen them the last 2 years. Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Readers,
Today, was another slow day although today was the slowest one yet. We walked right on time, 6:30 but then I came back to the room and didn’t leave until 7:30 this evening. I didn’t feel real good that was my main reason for staying in. I took more pictures but I’m writing this on the blog site again and it’s too hard to add them with it without a power outlet and photo software.
Tonight, the fireworks will be set off here. We really thought we would miss them this year since we are leaving the 4th. I forgot my tripod so if I can’t shot the fireworks I’ll just watch them. This would be the first time in years I’ve just watched them. I love photographing fireworks. Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Readers,
Today was much faster paced than yesterday. We started the day with our walk at 7:00 A.M. The late start was mostly my fault. I fell back asleep and wasn’t ready at 6:30 when I should have been. We then worked out and swam finishing our morning up with some sun tanning. We drove into the mountains to our favorite picnic spot in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We had hot dogs and then took a ton of pictures.
By the way it took me about 2 hours to prepare that last post. I’m not used to having to use a laptop without any photo software and having only 10 minutes to post. I had to post it twice too. I ran out of battery power the first time. I almost didn’t think it was going to work the second time. I thought I was going to have to wait until I got home to publish the pictures.
I’m writing this post in works in hopes that works has a better export to html function than Word. I’m really doubtful on that. The only reason I want to export it is that the pictures are easier to format in a word processor than any other way I can think of right now.
Anyway, when we got back to town mom decided that she wanted to go to thrift store. Crystal and I decided not to go since I don’t like them and mom loves them and takes much longer than I think she should.
I’m having a great time but also can’t wait to get back home to my dog and my computer and recliner. I’m having a really hard time finding a good reading position in the furniture here.
Well, that concludes the writing portion of this post. Now I’ll post a “few” pictures. Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Readers,
I had a more relaxed day. I walked at 6:30 A.M., that’s our normal vacation time. We usually eat breakfast then workout and then a swim, but not today. We came back and ate breakfast then we took a nap. We did workout and swim after the nap but overall it was a much slower day. Crystal swam with me yesterday after I wrote my blog. Crystal also walked with me to take picture. I would post pictures, but I’m not sure how well they would work, we’ll see, maybe I’ll figure it out later. I’ll add a P.S. if I get it to work.
Today I stayed home while mom, dad, and Crystal shopped. I had a very nice second nap. We ate supper at Chic-fil-a and I went to Wal*Mart. Crystal and I opted out of more shopping in favor of some television time and I’m writing this blog.
Well, I’m out of new news, I’ll write more later.
